Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Stable Circle Academy handles learner information. It should be reviewed and approved by the responsible legal and privacy officers before production launch.

What we collect

To provide Academy access, we collect the email address and password credentials needed for your learner account. We store module progress, quiz results and account timestamps. We do not ask the Academy for your recovery phrase, private keys, OTPs, banking credentials or wallet passwords.

Why we use it

We use this information to create and secure your account, provide learning content, save progress, show quiz results, administer the course and respond to support or security requests. We aim to collect only what is necessary for those purposes.

Privacy principles

The product is designed around lawful and fair processing, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, limited retention, confidentiality and accountability. These principles are intended to support POPIA and internationally recognised privacy expectations, including rights commonly provided under GDPR-style frameworks where they apply.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell learner information. Access to account and learning records should be limited to authorised service providers and staff who need it to operate or secure the Academy. Records should be retained only for as long as needed for the stated purpose, legal obligations, dispute handling or security investigations, after which they should be deleted or anonymised according to the approved retention schedule.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, request portability, and complain to the relevant regulator. Contact Stable Circle through the support channel provided with your membership to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Security and incidents

Use a unique password and protect the email account used for Academy access. Stable Circle should maintain access controls, secure configuration, audit logging, backups, vendor reviews and an incident-response process. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact support promptly and change the affected password from a trusted device.

Changes

We may update this notice when the product, processing activities or legal requirements change. Material changes should be communicated through an appropriate channel and, where required, new consent should be collected.
